Origin of a Name

The name stems from the word disastrous which means to cause great damage. I removed the negative prefix -dis and made the word positive. Astrous, meaning to cause great relief. I have philosophy that fashion exists to create relief. Getting dressed, people look for clothes that they feel good in- attractive, comfortable, strong. Good fashion brings relief to everybody and I want to share that relief with the world. Stress is a part of all of our lives, but Astrous Fashion was designed to bring relief. Fashion is a huge part of my life. It is the best way to convey who you are and what you are feeling without speaking. It's a way for people to relate to one another and find a common bond. As a writer, I realized the best way for me to share my philosophies and love of fashion is through words. I hope I am able to reach someone through these words and make a difference in their lives.
